You’ve probably heard it a million times… You can make bank by creating digital products to generate passive income online!
And it’s true – I’ve made over $8 million in the course of my business selling digital products.
But there’s a two-part strategy that is absolutely necessary for you to generate passive income from digital products without it taking up all of your time!
This post is going to teach you this simple two-part strategy so that you can build a profitable online business selling digital products.
Before we dive in, selling digital products is easier when you have an email list to sell them to!

Don’t Make These Mistakes with Your Digital Products
First things first, don’t do what I did when I first launched my online business!
I created a few digital products and once they started selling I wanted to make more money (I mean, who doesn’t?!)
Naturally I thought, “if I want to make more money, I just need to make more digital products.”
So I did!
I made more digital products. I sold those. Then created more digital products. And sold those too.
Sounds pretty sweet, right?!
Wrong!
I was spending all of my time creating more and more products. And that time freedom I sought by starting my own business… well, it didn’t exist!
When I finally got tired of constantly creating new products, I knew there had to be a better way.
I decided to streamline my time and business by choosing two of my most popular digital products to sell.
Next Level Unlocked
When I got focused on just a couple products, I was able to:
- Stop spending all of my time creating digital products. This freed up my time to focus on my marketing and sales strategy so I could position and sell these products better!
- Get feedback from my customers. I started listening to my customers. I paid attention to the customer support requests I was receiving. I started doing market research. I learned what people were looking for more of.
- Improve my digital products. Using the feedback, I had time to go back and improve the products.
- Get my customers better results. I mean, this is what we’re all in business for right?! To help people. Once I focused on improving just a few products, my customers got better results!
- Collect more testimonials. Better results = more testimonials. Social proof is one of the most powerful marketing tools. The better results I got my customers, the more testimonials I received. The more testimonials I received, the easier I could sell more of those digital products!
But here’s the best part!
I enjoyed what I was doing more. Instead of feeling stressed from constantly coming up with new digital product ideas…
I felt more fulfilled because I knew I was getting people better results.
And my sales grew! Without creating more, more, more!
Generating Passive Income On Autopilot
Once I improved my digital products, I was able to automate my entire funnel and sales process and know that it would consistently bring me passive income.
Now I make sales every single day on autopilot.
I shifted my focus to growing my following on my YouTube channel (which I had time for now that I wasn’t creating digital products one after another!)
I make really valuable content for my followers that builds trust and moves them onto my email list.
As my email list grows, I am able to help more people and make more sales!
It’s a win-win!
In Closing
